26th TGMA: King Paluta’s ‘Aseda’ wins Most Popular Song

Ghanaian rapper and singer, King Paluta won the Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year with his hit track ‘Aseda.’

King Paluta beat competition from OlivetheBoy – Asylum, Kidi ft Black Sherif – Lomo Lomo, Lasmid – Puul, Black Sherif – January 9, King Promise – Paris, Team Eternity – Defe Defe and Stonebwoy’s Jejereje.

King Paluta also won the Highlife Song of the Year and the Producer of the Year. He was also a close contender for the Artiste of the Year which featured other strong opponents like Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sherif, Kweku Smoke, Team Eternity Ghana and Joe Mettle.

The song released in 2024 is a heartfelt track that captures the essence of thanksgiving, showcasing the artist’s lyrical talent and distinctive style. The song features expertly played instruments, enhancing its emotional impact.
