Ultimate #HSQ: Four Schools qualify for round of sixteen.

Four schools so far know their fate in the round of sixteen in the ongoing Ultimate High School Quiz Competition.

The second phase has 24 schools which progressed from the preliminary stage with 120 schools.

Eight Schools competed in two quiz contests spanning English, social studies general knowledge and identification of audio visuals.

The most challenging parts of the quiz was the general knowledge and current affairs with several students caught off guard with probing questions.

In the end Pakoso Community Day Senior High School, the Opoku ware senior high school, Kumasi Academy and Armed forces SHS made it through to the next round.

Sixteen more schools are yet to find their places in the battle of brains beyond borders.

Below are the points scored by the schools.

CONTEST 1

Adventist SHS = 41.5
Kumasi Academy = 51
ARMED FORCES SHTS = 51
NKAWIE SHTS = 33

Kumasi Academy and Armed Forces SHS have qualified to the next stage of the competition

CONTEST 2

KNUST SHS = 49
SIMMS = 32
OWASS = 68
PARKOSO SHS = 65

OWASS and Parkoso SHS have qualified to the Round of 16.
