Ghana’s Thomas Teye Partey, Black Maiden striking sensation Abdulai Mukarama and Black Queens captain Elizabeth Addo have been nominated by the Confederation of African football for its topmost awards this year.
Partey, the Black stars midfielder who plays for Spanish side Athletico Madrid has been nominated for the Men’s Footballer of the year by CAF along with thirty three (33) other players.
Abdulai Mukarama, captain for the Black Maidens team that got to the quarter finals of the ongoing FIFA Women’s U-17 world cup in Uruguay has also been nominated for the Female footballer of the year award along with Elizabeth Addo and Portia Boakye of the Black Queens team.
The CAF awards is slated for Dakar, Senegal on the 8th September 2019.
