Woman dies while dancing NDC’s edition of Bobolebobo

A woman believed to be in her 40’s has died in Asawase constituency of the Ashanti region while dancing to NDC’s edition of Bobolebobo campaign song.

The dramatic incident happened at Asawasi Central mosque park on Tuesday 27^th November 2018 in the afternoon, while party delegates had converge awaiting the arrival of NDC’s Flagbearer aspirant John Dramani Mahama as part of his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region.

Confirming the news to Ultimate FM’s Isaac Justice Bediako, Alhaji Taabso said, “While we were waiting for the arrival of former president Mahama at Kumasi Central Mosque car park, Manuna and her colleagues were all dancing to our party’s songs. Unfortunately she fell down unexpectedly, we quickly rushed her to the Manhyia government hospital but she didn’t survive’’ he said.

Asawase constituency secretary of the NDC Mugis Mahdi described the deceased as a loyal active party woman who is a number one fan of former president John Dramani Mahama.

“ in fact Mamuna’s death comes to us as a very shocking, even though she was unwell, she came to the campaign grounds because of the love she have for the former president . The president visit the bereaved family this morning with a delegation to mourn with them before Islamic prayers was held to the deceased. For now she has been buried in line with Islamic tradition’’ he narrated.
