
Ghana’s second lady Samira Bawumia’s father Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan has been appointed Ghana’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirate (UAE).
Swearing him in office, the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo expressed hope that Alhaji Ramadan’s appointment to the oil rich nation will help “build strong relations with that part of the world.”
Alhaji Ramadan who retired from active politics in 2015 is the former Chairman of People’s National Convention (PNC).
His son, Abu Ramadan is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Disaster and Management Organisation (NADMO).
