
A Level 100 student at the University of Education, Winneba, is reported to have taken his own life after allegedly discovering his partner’s infidelity. He is believed to have died by hanging on Wednesday, 16 April, following a deeply distressing incident in which he encountered his girlfriend in an intimate situation with another individual at GUSSS Hall Two.

The intense emotional turmoil stemming from that discovery is thought to have compelled him to end his life. His body remains in the custody of the Winneba Police Service as investigations continue.
In a related story reported by Pulse, Rex Kondwani, a Malawian, is said to have hanged himself after his wife gave K12,000 that they had earned through gardening labour to a nearby church.According to reports, the tragic tragedy happened on September 6 in Muwalo Village, Thyolo District, Malawi.George Kaleso, senior superintendent of the Masambanjati Police, confirmed the suicide in a statement.

According to Kaleso, the pair was hired to perform piecework in gardening and received K12,000, which the wife kept.
“Yesterday, when Kondwani asked for his share, the wife told him she had donated the money to their local church,” the police boss is quoted to have said in a statement.
He added that the woman's admission sparked a contentious quarrel between her and the husband before he was subsequently discovered hanging from the top of the church to which the money in question was donated.
