Ghana Premier League: NSA board chairman believes clubs who take FA to court must be expelled

NSA boss believes that the GFA clubs must adhere to its own rules by suspending those who take the club must be expelled

The National Sports Authority Board Chairman Kojo Baah-Agyemang says he wants the Ghana Football Association to expel clubs who drag the outfit to court.

According to Mr Baah-Agyemang the federation will only enforcing its rules by taking clubs out of federation who send the FA to court and place an injunction on the league.

“Every year we hear of an injunction being placed on the league".

“I believe that the GFA should enforce regulations that will halt its members from bringing injunctions against the league.”

Article 21 Clause 1 sub Clause 4 of the GFA statues, clubs that fail to exhaust all internal modes of conflict resolution and seek redress at the Court of Law shall be expelled.

Accra Great Olympics currently have a case against the Ghana Football Association at the Accra High Court. The hearing transpired on 13 February and has been adjourned to 21 Febrauary,2018

Mr Baah-Agyemang did say the GFA need to ensure control on its members in order to curtail occurances of this nature which delay the league.

“It’s their own members that take them to court so if you can’t contain your people to stabilize the league that we have,then why bring the family together.”
