Two mobile preachers engaged in exchange of fisticuffs on Wednesday beating each other in the full glare of market women in the Kumasi Central market in the Ashanti region over offertory.
The two preachers, identified as Evangelist Samuel Kwame Boateng and Evangelist Kwame Poku chose to abandon the Bible and the preaching to physically attack each other and in the process, ripped off each other’s clothes.

According to the Ghanaweb.com, the two preachers have been known for exchanging words over offertory by passersby, but it got out of hands that afternoon when they got physical, because one of them was reportedly getting more money than the other.
Some market women who witnessed the embarrassing incident are reported to have attributed the aggressiveness of the preachers to the forthcoming Christmas celebration, saying they needed money badly for the celebration.
Meanwhile, one of the said preacher, Samuel Kwame Boateng said after the fight that, he was advised by one of the market women to attack his colleague, as he consistently rained insults on him, threatening to beat him.
