

The singer who took over the Egypt 80 band at 14 seemed a happy father as he celebrated his daughter's birthday.
Seun Kuti, the youngest son of late Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, was in a fulfilled mood as he celebrated his daughter Adara's fourth year birthday.
He took to his Instagram express words of happiness over the growth of his child which he claimed has affected him positively. To help with the caption was a picture of the little celebrant and her parents.
The charming looking with full name Ifafunmike Adara Anikulapo-kuti was born on December 16, 2013. This was the year after her father's strong participation in the Occupy Nigeria protest organized to express disapproval over the hike in the price of petrol under former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
Seun quickly stepped into a position of leadership following the death of his father when he was only 14 years old. The sad incident which occurred in the year 1997, saw him become the lead singer of the Egypt 80 band.

Just like older siblings such as Femi and Yeni, he has helped promote the legacy of his late father who stood for truth and responsible governance though the latter appeared to be lacking during his time.
Fela Kuti's antagonism of the government saw him become a victim of physical abuse in the hands of military officers.
