A 20-year-old man believed to be engaged in cyber fraud has reportedly slashed the reproductive organs of a 10-year-old boy, Waachribu Adam, for rituals in the Gambaga District of the Northern Region.
The suspect, who has been identified as Rauf aka Bossu was said to have asked Adam to assist him to carry pieces of wood from a nearby bush but Adam refused.
Bossu allegedly forced him into the bush where he is believed to have severed the testes of the boy.

He allegedly tried to cut the boy’s tongue as well but the boy pushed him aside and managed to escape.
He was later taken to the Tamale Teaching Hospital by a ‘Good Samaritan’ and is currently responding to treatment.
Dr. Kwabena Oppong Kyeremeh at the Tamale Teaching Hospital told the Daily Guide newspaper that Adam had successfully undergone skin grafting but cannot use his penis for reproductive purposes.

The incident has since been reported to the Gambaga police and Rauf has been arrested.
