

Mathematics is generally a scary subject for post students, but there are some specific questions that students pray they never encounter in exams. This is exact one of such questions.
Just as everyone has experienced in their schooling time and others are yet to, some students in New Zealand had a hard time answering some questions in their recently held exams, but this particular question got most if not all of them biting their pen tops.

The question reads:
"Holes are drilled through a 2m long horizontal board.
"The rope passes through the holes to make the seat of a swing.
"The height of a seat is 1.2 metres above the ground.
"How far apart would the holes in the board need to be if the shape of the rope above the seat stays the same?"
