President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni says he will resurrect when he dies because Jesus Christ came to the world, died and resurrected.
Speaking to a gathering of Christians at a Stadium in Lira Town on Saturday, Museveni, a Christian said “We are now all Christians. Why? Because Jesus came, was crucified and he was buried but he resurrected. When he resurrected, he gave all us of hope that we shall also resurrect,”

He added that “If there is no resurrection, there is no Christianity. I have not yet died and resurrected but I hope I will (die and resurrect), because I am a Christian.”
According to africafeeds.com, the longest serving president of Uganda backed his high hopes with the book of 1 Corinthians 15: 26 in the Bible, which says: “The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.”
Mr. Museveni’s latest position almost contradicts his earlier comment just last month when he reportedly said Ugandans spend too much time praying at the detriment of work.

He asked them to invent ideas and solutions that will enable them take dominion over other creatures and stop “praying…praying and shouting as if God is deaf.”
