Nigeria Bombing: 17 year old suicide bomber kills at least 50 worshippers at mosque in Mubi

Local media reports that a 17 year old suicide bomber has blasted a mosque in Mubi, northeastern Nigeria, which has killed at least 50 people.

Othman Abubakar, a police spokesman said the bomber was about 17 years old.

No group has yet claimed responsibility, but Boko Haram carries out regular attacks in the region.

Reports say the death toll  varied from at least 20 to 50.

Many more people were injured and taken to nearby hospitals.
