In Central Region: Gunmen rape and kill receptionist at guesthouse in Kasoa

A woman has been raped and killed at Kasoa in the Central Region after some assailants stormed a guesthouse in which she worked as a receptionist.

It is not yet clear what caused the attack, but Accra-based Joy FM reports that some land guards have recently been attacking some residents in the area.

A neighbour, who arrived at the guesthouse compound after the attack, said he heard some unusual noises and rushed to the scene.

According to him, he found the lady lying naked in a pool of blood.

He said the woman was able to narrate what happened to her before giving up the ghost, saying that she was raped and shot later.
