Three people have died in a dreadful accident at Konongo on the Kumasi-Accra highway in the Ashanti Region early Tuesday morning.
Three other persons are said to be in critical condition after two cargo vehicles collided head-on, impeding traffic on the road since 2:30am.

The injured persons have been rushed to the Konongo Government Hospital.
The cause of the accident is not immediately known but the bodies of the dead, had been deposited at the morgue.
