

The teacher who has been identified as Patrick Brako was said to have been attacked in the staff common room by a man known as Kwasi John.
The Akyem Maase Methodist Junior High School in the East Akyem Municipality of the Eastern region has been shut down indefinitely.
This comes on the back of a machete attack on one of the teachers on Tuesday, Accra-based Starr FM reports.

It took the intervention of colleague teachers to handle the situation.
It is still unclear what could have caused the attack but sources say it could have been due to a disagreement over an electricity bill in the teacher’s house.

The victim lodged a complaint with the Police station and a medical form was issued for him to be treated.
