Tech: Comcast is experiencing what appears to be a nationwide internet outage (CMCSA)

A Comcast Xfinity internet outage swept the country Monday and customers aren't happy.

Comcast's Xfinity internet service appears to be down in many parts of the US. A map from DownDetector.com, shows the outage being worse in states across the Northeast, and affecting major cities like Los Angeles and Boston. So far, it's unclear where the problem is stemming from.

On Twitter, the Comcast Cares account said it was working on a fix. The Comcast Business account also replied to angry workers that it appreciated the nonexistent patience and was working on it. Business Insider reached out for comment but has not received a reply.
