The initial success of “One Corner” has bolstered the career of Swedru-based artist Patapaa to become an international sensation.
However the “One Corner” hitmaker lamented that although his song has gained a lot of success it has not reflected in his bank account.

“Oh boss what I can say is that, I’m really content with how far my song has travelled but I can sincerely say that I can’t boast of GHC1,000 in my pocket from this hard work”, he told Kasapa FM’s Gatuso in an interview.
It seems the tide has changed in his favour as he is booking shows all over the country and receiving a lump sum pay.

This was revealed by Sleeky Promotions the organizers of the event in an interview with Empire FM. The organizers also outfitted for travel expenses, accommodation and food.

Patapaa recently made headlines for refusing to perform at the RTP Awards because organizers offered him GHC1, 000 as a performance fee.
