

The Portuguese skipper has been voted the World best player for the fifth time
Cristiano Ronaldo has been named FIFA's best men's footballer of 2017 on Monday, the latest prize after a glittering year for Real Madrid star.
Ronaldo beat off competition from Neymar and and long-time Barcelona rival Lionel Messi of Argentina for the honour
Ronaldo had already won European Footballer of the Year, thanks to the UEFA Champions League, La Liga, the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup.
