The world football governing body will not open proceedings regarding Ghana’s complaint over their World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
FIFA has rejected Ghana’s complaint about poor officiating over their 2018 FIFA World Cup game against Uganda last week Saturday.
The Black Stars scored a late minute goal against Uganda in the penultimate 2018 World Cup qualifiers, but South African referee Daniel Bennett surprising disallowed the goal.
Ghana immediately filed a protest and requested for the game to be replayed, but Egypt victory a day after against Congo meant they confirmed their place in Russia, making Ghana’s demand for a replay seemingly needless looking at the fact that it would have no bearing on the group.

FIFA says as quoted by Associated Press “no proceedings will be opened around the World Cup qualifier match Uganda vs. Ghana.”
Ghana's request followed FIFA last month ordering a replay of a South Africa-Senegal qualifier played last year. Ghanaian referee Joseph Lamptey was later found guilty of fixing and banned for life.
