Football's Most Expensive Drama: Cavani just rejected €1m from PSG to let Neymar take penalties

Football fans who followed the transfer saga for the world’s most expensive player know it was not short of its drama.

From Barcelona to Paris, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior made sure the world knew he was worth the price and hype.

Just when we thought things were over after that whole drama with Barcelona, a great one hit up.

New club. Penalty. Who is taking? Cavani (who has been with PSG for some time) or Neymar (the new boy and the world’s most expensive player)?

For the first show Dani Alves took the ball for Neymar to take a free-kick but Cavani didn’t give up quite easily eventually taking a later spot kick.

In a bid to resolve the drama at PSG, Spanish publication El Pais reports Cavani has been offered €1 million (which amounts to his bonus should he finish as PSG’s top scorer) but the Uruguayan striker has rejected the deal.

Paris Saint Germain president, Al-Khelaifi is negotiating with Cavani’s representatives but the discussion is not going well for the club who want to make Neymar their show runner.
