Burkina Faso were sent packing from the 2017 Fox West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup by Niger when they defeated them 2-1 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Nigeriens went ahead twice in the game to stun their more fancied side, Burkina Faso.

Soumana Boubacar started the scoring for Niger in the 33rd with a beautiful finish but Dah Sansan restored parity for Burkina Faso when he slotted home a through ball in the 59 minute.
Sansan's goal lasted for 12 minutes as Garba Idrissa restored the lead which also ended up being the winning goal for the Nigeriens.
