

The suspect who was allegedly linked to notorious criminal Atta Ayi has been on the police wanted list for almost two years now.
One of Takoradi’s most wanted alleged robber has been arrested by the Kwesimintsim Police in the Western Region.
The suspect, Nii Henry Addo, also known as dollar boy, was arrested at his hideout on Tuesday, Supt. Peter Lennox Aidoo told Takoradi-based Empire FM.

The police said that on August 19, at about 10:00 pm Dollar Boy and two others riding a black unregistered motor bike allegedly attacked and snatched a handbag of a woman. The handbag contained an amount of GHC9,000 as well as, mobile phones, recharge cards and other valuable items.
One Kwame Amissah was subsequently arrested at a house believed to be a hiding place for criminals at Anaji.
Items retrieved from him included one jungle motor bike suspected to be used in committing crimes, a black bag containing a vehicle audio player, two pairs of scissors, four damaged cell phones, masks, among other implements.

But in his cautioned statement, Amissah mentioned the alleged robber, Dollar Boy, as the owner of the items.
Dollar Boy was later arrested at his hide-out in Cape Coast.
