

Faith Mensah Tekpor was arrested and put before court in 2013 after he had duped several women of various sums of monies
A fake doctor and fraudster, by name Faith Mensah Tekpor has been arrested by the police after he had jumped a court bail and been on police wanted list for some time now.
His arrest was confirmed in a statement released by the Ghana Police Service signed by its Director of Public Affairs, DSP Sheila Kessie Abayie-Buckman, on Friday, 10 August.

According to the statement, Mr. Tekpor used different names such as “Dr Jeff Alvin Addow”, “Dr Alvin Owusu”, “Dr Alvin Annan”, “Dr Fiifi Owusu”, “Dr Collins Amoah” and “Dr Alvin Mensah”, to defraud unsuspecting victims, mostly women.
The suspect who according to the police has“normally operated within Accra, Sakumono and Tema” has “had jumped court bail and was listed as a wanted person following the issue of a bench warrant.”

He is currently in Police custody helping in further investigation.
