Ghanaian kickboxer heads to China with the hope of grabbing victory against Yao Hang
UAE based Ghanaian kickboxer, Gerald Dah hopes to grab another victory in the ring when he takes on Yao Hang of China this Saturday in the Asian country.
Dah boasts a career record of 18 wins, two losses and currently holds the WKF champion title of Austria and WKBC title of Hong Kong in addition to several championships during his 20-fight career.
The Ghanaian landed in China on Wednesday and declared war on the home favourite, Yao whom he faces in the 6th fight of the Fight Time championship at the Dexing City First Middle School on Saturday night
"The weather is kind of hot here but I'm a million percent ready, just can't wait for it. Bring it on," Dah said from China.
"I promise my fans and Ghanaians back home to put in all my hard work and with their prayers, God shall grant me victory," he added.
The former Ghana based kickboxer is also adamant that he has never forgotten about his roots and is praying continued success for himself and a few kickboxers from this country plying their trade in foreign lands will open more opportunities for equally good counterparts back home.
"My determination is to raise the Ghana flag to the next level and pray that my friends kickboxers in Ghana also get the opportunity one day to compete outside in Asia or Europe," Gerald Dah reflected.
"And many thanks to Alhassan Okine, our team captain for supporting kickboxing and serving as motivation to the fighters," Dah said.
