A soldier has been arrested in the Western Region for threatening to release the nude photos of his lover on social media.

The soldier, identified only as Aseidu, is alleged to have cunningly pestered the girl for her nude photos.
After refusing WO Asiedu's sexual advances, the girl reported the incident to his brother.
Helpless about the situation, his brother informed National Security officials in the region about the development.

A plan was hatched to lure WO Aseidu to a hotel with the girl.
The police moved into the hotel to arrest the soldier after he checked in with the girl.
The nude photos were found on his computers after a search at his resident.
He is currently in the grips of the Takoradi Central Police Station assisting with further investigations.
