Solomon Nyantakyi was arrested for allegedly murdering his mum and sister in Parma.

Ghanaians in Italy were thrown into a state of mourning after Solomon Nyantakyi, a footballer from the West African country was arrested for the murder of his sister and mother.

Solomon Nyantakyi was arrested in Italy in the early hours of Wednesday for allegedly killing his mother and sister on Tuesday night in the city of Parma.

The 21-year-old midfielder of Imolese Calcio has admitted to have murdered his mother, Patience Nfum, 43, and young sister, Magdalene Nfum, 11, who are all Ghanaians living in Italy.
