The 23-year-old former Kumasi based King Faisal midfielder was linked to a move to several clubs England including Liverpool, yet he has opted to move to the Chinese League which is attracting talented footballers plying their trade in Europe due to their increasing purchase power.

He is expected to remain in the Asian side until 2018 and decide to sign a permanent deal if he wants to continue his football there.
It would be recalled that Frank Acheampong is not new to football in Asia, having played in Thailand in the early years of his career abroad.
