Asante Kotoko suffered road accident at Nkawkaw and several others injured in the process

Kofi Asare, the deputy Kit and Equipment officer of Asante Kotoko was killed in the road accident the Porcupine Warriors got involved in at Nkawkaw and several others got injured.

The team was transported to Kumasi on the Okwawu United team bus and those injured are currently receiving treatment at the Emergency Unit of the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.

Aside Asare who passed away immediately, the driver of team bus of Kotoko is in a critical.

These were the other casualties of the road accident Kotoko suffered at the Nkawkaw road.

The head coach Steve Polack has suffered neck break and has been given neck support and has also suffered broken leg.

While Godwin Ablodey, the assistant coach of the team has been treated, but is walking on one leg.
