Ghana Premier League: Kotoko suffer first defeat of first round at Inter Allies

The Porcupne Warriors lost their match day 22 league game by a goal to nil at Inter Allies

Inter Allies put up a high spirited performance to edge Kumasi Asante Kotoko by a goal to nil at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.

The Poercupine Warriors were yet to be handed their first defeat in the second half of the season prior to entering into the tie against Inter Allies. They had drawn one and won two of their past three outings

Inter Allies who have been impressive in recent weeks got the lone goal in the first half through youngster Abdul Haleed Waleed.

Asante Kotoko despite coming into the second half strongly couldn’t fight from the one goal down.

This is not a good results for Asante Kotoko especially entering into their week end clash against Accra Hearts of Oak in Kumasi.
