Two Indian organisations have decided to give paid leaves to their female employees.
Culture Machine in Mumbai recently launched a video announcing the news to their female employees.
The video started with the company asking their female employees how it felt like to have periods.
And when the women were later told that they could take a paid day off, they were more than elated.

Gozoop, a digital marketing organisation also took a similar action.
This means all the women working for the company will also get a paid leave on the first day of their period.
The company, which also supports employees in case of educational needs, intends to share educational expenses, give a month long paid leave to enable workers to explore their professional expertise.
