

Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017 by residents of Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion that he was an armed robber.
The family of late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama on Thursday visited Denkyira Obuasi in the Central region, after the gruesome murder of the soldier, Accra-based Starr FM reports.
Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017 by residents of Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion that he was an armed robber.
A total of 58 suspects arrested in connection with the murder have since made an appearance at the Accra Central District Court.

The Denkyira Traditional Council performed purification rights in the area to ward off any curse the soldier’s death might bring to the area.
Meanwhile, the government has set up a memorial fund with a seed money of ?500,000 for the welfare of the wife and children of Adam Mahama.
