Sports: No school has had more players drafted in the NBA's first round than the University of North Carolina

There have been 49 players drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft from the University of North Carolina.

North Carolina really is the home of college basketball.

In the history of the NBA Draft, players have been selected in the first round from 225 different colleges, according to Basketball-Reference.com. But no school has produced more first-rounders than the University of North Carolina.

North Carolina has had 49 players taken in the first round, including Justin Jackson and Tony Bradley on Thursday. They are followed by Kentucky (46) and Duke (42).
