Uber fired more than 20 employees after 215 claims of sexual harassment.
Uber has fired more than 20 employees as part of its internal proble into sexual harrasment at the company, according a Bloomberg report citing an anonymous source on Tuesday.
The company announced the news internally to its 12,000 employees on Tuesday.
The investigation by outside law firm Perkins Coie looked into 215 claims of sexual harassment, taking no action in 100 instances, Bloomberg said. There are still cases under investigation as well.
The Perkins Coie investigation is apparently separate from a probe being conducted for Uber by Eric Holder, the former US Attorney General. Holder has given his recommendations to Uber's board, though it's not yet clear what his findings or recommendations are.
Uber CEO Travis Kalanick launched an internal investigation in February after a former employee said in a personal blog post that she was sexually harassed and experienced gender bias during her time at the company.
Uber was not immediately available for comment.
