

Kennedy Agyapong said Rawlings should be blamed for the corrupt practices in the country
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong says former President Jerry John Rawlings has no moral right to talk about corruption because he planted it in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He said Rawlings should be blamed for the corrupt practices in the country.

Rawlings in a speech on Sunday at Wa to mark the 38th anniversary of the "June 4 Revolution" said the NDC lost the 2016 elections for abandoning the ideals of the June 4 Revolution.
He said the June 4 ideals, he has often said, are probity and accountability and social justice.
He revealed that the spate of corruption that has characterised the political climate over the past few years caused the defeat of the NDC.

But Kennedy Agyepong reacting to Rawlings' comments on Adom TV said Rawlings is now reaping the seed he sowed in the NDC.
"He [Rawlings] has no moral right to talk about corruption.

"He’s pretending to be a saint. I am always surprised when you guys see him as a hero. The kind of training he gave the NDC; the seed he sowed that is what we are reaping today," the Assin Central MP added.
