Sad News: Two women killed after wall collapsed on them

The deceased were 86-year-old Yaa Nimo who died instantly while 78-year old Yaa Antaa died later.

A mud wall weakened by rains on Sunday collapsed on two members of a family at Assin Akropong in the Central region killing them.

Reports say the incident occurred when the two were vigorously pouring fufu after returning from church on Sunday.

The building, which is largely mud and had already been weakened by persistent rains unfortunately caved in on the two old ladies while they were preparing the meal.

Meanwhile, police say they have concluded a report on the incident while the bodies of the two have been deposited at the morgue.
