Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila's move to Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers is in danger after fears over his fee and work permit.
The Al Gharafa stalwart has been heavily linked with Rangers after his old boss from Gharafa, Pedro Caixinha was appointed as boss this season but with could miss out on his dreams after the club raised fears over his possible cost and likelihood of receiving a work permit having not played in 75 percent of Ghana's recent international matches.

It is understood Rangers are looking at signing young Portuguese star, Fabio Cardoso as a replacement.
Rashid Sumaila was part of the Black Stars team that played in the 2014 FIFA World Cup staged in Brazil, but he hasn't been earning recent call-ups to feature for his national team due top tip in form.
