La Liga: John Boye leads teammates in celebration after securing promotion

The Ghana defender was instrumental in helping his club Sivasspor to gain promotion back to the Turkish topflight league.

John Boye led his Sivasspor teammates in a wild celebration  after they secured promotion back to the Turkish Supa Liga.

Boye has been one of  the best performers for the club, scoring four goals throughout the season for Sivasspor.

The Red and Whites dream of climbing to the elite division was accomplished last weekend when they drew one all against  Goztepe to confirm their qualifiication.

Sivasspor scored the opener, before Thiago Bezerra cancelled out the lead for Goztepe.

The Black Stars defender's side are occupying second on the league log with 59 points and are trailing league leaders Yeni Malatyaspor.
