

According Bugri Naabu, the Gender Minister Otiko Afisa Djaba was involved in the killing of Adams Mahama
The Family of Gregory Afoko has called for the arrest and interrogation of the Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu, Gender Minister Otiko Afisa Djaba and Mr. Kamal-Deen Abdulai, the National Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for having a hand in the murder of the former Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Alhaji Adams Mahama.
The family made this known at a press conference due to the revelations made by Bugri Naabu over the death of the late Upper East regional chairman of the NPP, Adams Mahama.

According Bugri Naabu, the Gender Minister Otiko Afisa Djaba was involved in the killing of Adams Mahama.
The family of Gregory Afoko said the names mentioned by Bugri Naabu must be arrested and investigated.
A member of the family, Mr Robert Atong Asekabta who addressed the media said "So just as Gregory Afoko was arrested on the allegation of someone, it is our humble plea to the police that Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba, Mr. Rockson Bukari and Bugri Naabu himself be arrested or invited by the Police to assist in finding who actually killed Adams Mahama and for what purpose. The law must be seen to be applied equally to all manner of persons."
He, however, called on the police to release Mr Gregory Afoko.

Death of Adams Mahama
Adams Mahama died in the hospital following an acid attack on May 20, 2015.
He had been fighting for his life in the hospital after two assailants stopped his car whilst he was about entering his house midnight on Wednesday and poured the corrosive substance on his face and entire body.

Police investigations led to the arrest of Gregory Afoko, brother of the suspended national chairman of the NPP, Paul Afoko.
Gregory Afoko is currently standing trial for the murder of Adams Mahama after preliminary investigations linked him to the crime.
