The actor got very real about his wife at the Met Gala.

There's nothing like Ryan Reynolds explaining exactly why he loves his wife Blake Lively so much to make you feel like you seriously have your work cut out for you.

Humans of New York grabbed the couple for a photo and a question inside the Met Gala yesterday, and the resulting Instagram post was, well, pretty incredible.

Not only is the couple one of the fittest and most famous in Hollywood (here's some fit tips from the couple's trainer), but apparently also one of the most genuine. The thing that's most special about this is that Humans of New York famously catches people unprepared in order to get their most immediate reactions. Ryan Reynolds was ready, though.

"She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old. And she’s made me a more empathetic person," he said.

Well put, Mr. Reynolds. It's easy to see why he has been a Men's Health cover guy on more than one occasion.
