Photos: James Town Homowo Regatta attracts hundreds

This years' Homowo celebration has seen the reintroduction of one activity, Regatta, that has phased away for many years due to lack of support and proper organizational structures.

However, this year's event sponsored by the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture attracted hundreds of people who were thrilled.

In attendance were Elizebeth Afolley Quaye, sector Minister and her Deputy Francis  Kingsley  Ato Cudjoe who doubles as a Member of Parliament for Ekumfi.

Homowo Regatta is a series of boat races, swimming and  'Jama' singing organized as part of the annual festival celebrated by the Ga State.
