The Vice Chancellor of KAAF University, Dr Francis Achampong says programmes offered by the fast sprawling private university are carefully tailored to meet industry and societal needs.
According to Dr Francis Achampong, the carefully structured and industry-driven nature of programmes of the university, have positioned KAAF as an ideal institution for both undergraduates and postgraduates programmes.
Vice Chancellor Dr Achampong made this known during a matriculation ceremony held on Friday February 27, 2026 for the 2025/26 academic year.
KAAF University, he added, has consistently strived to provide world-class education to equip students for both the local and global job markets.
Dr Francis Achampong has, therefore, encouraged new students who have been admitted into the university to strive to excel in their various chosen programmes to secure a brighter future.
Speaking to the media later, the Vice Chancellor of KAAF University said “At KAAF University we don’t introduce programmes that are not relevant to societal demands. We cannot produce graduates who will add up to the unemployed graduates syndrome.
“We give them practical training with programmes that meet what the industries need but not just the theory and I believe this is why they do very in industries.”
The Registrar of KAAF University, Dr Linda Anane Donkor, emphasised that the university was looking forward to adding PhD programmes in Nursing and Midwifery.
She urged students to avoid distractions, ditch any habits that might hold them back and rather focus on their studies.
A total of 1, 750 students made up 1,005 females and 745 males were matriculated into the university for the 2025/26 academic year.
