
Mr. Albert Dakora, the President’s two time nominee for the position of DCE for the Adansi Asokwa District of Ashanti has secured a 100% endorsement and thus confirmed by the Assembly.
All the 39 assembly members voted for him in the elections conducted on Friday.
The DCE in his first attempt on the May 15, 2025 had 18 of the assembly members voting for him while 21 voted against his nomination.
Speaking to the media after his confirmation, elated Dakora, a teacher by profession, said by his endorsement the resetting of Adansi Asokwa District has begun.
He promised to team up with Nananom and all relevant stakeholders to develop the district.
The MP for the Adansi Asokwa Constituency, Godwin Animli Dorgbadzi Dorani, expressed his appreciation to the President for re-nominating Dakora the second time.
He noted that though the battle was tough, victory has come the way of the DCE and called for support from everybody to enable him to perform. He promised to team up with him to bring the needed development to the district.
