They are demanding justice for their deceased colleague, who has been identified as Loverboy, a mobile phone accessories hawker. His attacker, also a hawker, sells kitchen wares and plastics with his wife.
The duo were said to be scrambling over space along the pavement of Kumasi Zoological Gardens, which turned into a fight.
According to an eyewitness account, during the fight, the deceased managed to beat the suspect, who is now at large.
The eyewitness added that after the two had been separated, the suspect grabbed a knife from the wares that were being sold by his wife and stabbed his colleague two times in his chest. With his shirt soaked in blood, Lover boy was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) but could not survive.
