The former Chairman of the National Peace Council, Right Rev. Prof Emmanuel Kwaku Asante, has urged Ghanaians to comply with the protocols on the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him, the disease is real and wreaking havoc in some homes and offices, so there is the need to adhere to the Presidential protocols.
Prof Asante has subsequently urged the congregation to be obedient and adhere to all the directives from the state authorities, bemoaning that people had disregarded these measures.
He urged the congregation to pray for Ghanaian leaders in these trying times.
The Wesleyan Prelate made this admonition at the Wesley Cathedral recently.
He also appealed to the Church to take the red alert issued by the Ghana Health Service about the Ebola virus seriously, and stay away from the consumption of bush meat.
