Legon Cities FC has received a huge blow with the termination of contract from one of their poster boys.
Nicholas Gyan, who inked a two year deal with the Royals, ahead of the commencement of the 2020/21 GHPL season, has mutually ended his relationship with the Royals.
In an emotional letter intercepted by 442gh.com a few weeks ago, the former Ebusua Dwarfs and Simba SC attacking midfielder informed the club of his decision to part ways.
A portion of his termination letter cited unhappy working environment as the key factor in his decision to terminate the two year deal with Legon Cities FC.
“The reason why I want to terminate my contract is that I’m no longer happy working with the club”, excerpts from his letter reads.”
However, the club statement, signed by CEO Terry Maxwell Aidam reads; “The club has received your letter dated the 8th February, 2021 and acknowledges its content as such.
