Apollonia is giving me headache -Gbetsile Stool

The Gbetsile Stool says it has petitioned the Lands Commission to immediately start looking into the encroachment of its lands by Apollonia.
The Gbetsile Stool requested the Lands Commission to expunge the plotting of the portion of the Gbetsile lands into Apollonia from their records as it is legally indefensible.
In a petition filed on behalf of the Gbetsile Stool by its Counsel, Prosper Xorla Nyahe, of Nyahe Law Consult, the Petitioner draws the attention of the Lands Commission to one Iddrisu Mansro, who is alleged to be eating deep into Gbetsile Stool lands and plotting same, as part of Appolonia lands.
The Chief of Gbetsile, Nii Teye Amankwah Kojo Sune I, according to the petition copied to the Director of Survey and Mapping Department, the Administrator of Stool Lands, the Director of Land Titles and the Regional Director of the Lands Commission, including the Ghana Police Service, made reference to a judgement plan the Stool obtained from the High Court which stated the actual size and demarcations of the Gbetsile Stool lands.
This judgement plan the Gbestile Stool prayed the Lands Commission to respect and also wants such to be registered by the Commission.
“Accordingly, my client respectfully demands that upon receipt of this letter, you should kindly superimpose the judgement plan on that of the land plotted by Appolonia Stool, so as to ascertain a portion of Gbetsile Stool land, which was wrongfully plotted in the name of Apollonia Stool and consequently expunge same,” the petition read in parts.
Not too long ago, the Kpone Paramount Council, which includes Gbetsile, lamented that some unscrupulous persons, in connivance with some faceless persons at the Lands Commission
are illegally registering its Stool Lands.
The Paramount Chief of Kpone Traditional Area, Nii Tetteh Otu II, strongly condemned the illegalities and threatened to expose such individuals within the Commission.
This petition by the Gbetsile Stool, therefore, confirms the worry of the Kpone Paramount Council.
Before petitioning the Lands Commission, the Gbetsile Stool had cautioned about the dealing with anyone or group of persons, including any group of the security agencies that would grab any portion of the Gbetsile lands to themselves.
Secretary to the Stool, Samuel Tetteh, who spoke to the media, noted that the Stool has resolved to stop its calm posture, which has been abused for long and to punish any persons stealing their lands.
According to him, “We wanted to be law-abiding and so decided to get all the relevant agencies to listen to us and also get them appreciate why no individual or even a family cannot sell or alienate any land in Gbetsile to themselves. The holidays for these law-breakers are over. The Stool will not spare anybody from today.”
