

Nana Yaa Fremah Konadu unveiling the plague to commission the teachers’ bungalow
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwabre East have jointly commissioned a No2-unit bedroom staff quarters for teachers, and two bungalows for doctors and staff of the Assembly at Amanpe, Asonomaso, Mamponteng respectively.

The gesture is aimed at addressing accommodation problems of the three institutions.
The MCE, Nana Osei Asibey Bonsu, stated at the commissioning ceremonies that teachers, health workers, and staff of the Assembly play a vital role in the development of communities, hence, the need to motivate them by providing shelter over their heads.

A doctor’s bungalow
According to him, befitting accommodation would help improve teaching and learning, and also improve selflessness among the staff.
He indicated that the three-unit teachers’ bungalows include a hall, kitchen, toilet, and bath for each occupant.

Ms Francisca Oteng Serwaah, Member of Parliament for the area, also advised the beneficiaries and heads of the respective institutions to cultivate the maintenance culture to enable the facilities serve their intended purposes, and help improve the living standards of the people in the Kwabre East Municipality and beyond.
She pleaded with the electorate to renew the mandate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December 7, 2020 General Elections to roll out more projects and programmes to complement existing interventions like the Free Senior High, Planting for Food and Jobs, and Nurses and Teacher training allowances, to serve as a relief to the Ghanaian populace, especially the vulnerable in society.
Ohene Yaa Fremah Konadu, Nana Antwi and Dr. Mahama Imrana, Queenmother of Amanpe, Krontihene of Asonomaso, and Medical Director of Asonomaso Hospital respectively, expressed their profound gratitude to the Assembly, especially the Municipal Chief Executive and the Member of Parliament, for the laudable projects and urged them to fix their deplorable roads networks for them.
Dr. Imrana appealed to the Assembly to consider providing an administration block for the Asonomaso Hospital.
