Fortuna Düsseldorf forward Nana Ampomah to undergo tests today

Fortuna Düsseldorf star Nana Ampomah will undergo tests on Monday to know the extent of the injury he picked up in Saturday's German Cup win.

The summer signing scored in the 52nd to level for the Bundesliga outfit but after an hour he had to be substituted.

After a sprint, the Ghana international grabbed thigh and signaled the bench for his replacement in what looked like a muscle tear.

A Tweet on the club's official Twitter account read: With Nana Ampomah there is a suspicion of a torn muscle in the adductor area. Our attacker will undergo further investigation on Monday. Fingers crossed that it is not so bad''

Ampomah is now a doubt for the start of the 2019/20 German Bundesliga
