KP Boateng hits out at Leonardo Bonucci over Moise Kean racism comments

Barcelona star Kevin-Prince Boateng has expressed displeasure at Juventus's Leonardo Bonucci for suggesting his teenage team-mate Moise Kean was partly to blame for racist abuse he received from Cagliari fans during Tuesday’s Serie A win.

Kean, spread his arms while facing the crowd after scoring Juve's second goal in response to earlier racist abuse he had suffered.

But Bonucci said Kean "could have done it differently" and "the blame is 50-50".

"There were racist jeers after the goal, Blaise heard it and was angered. I think the blame is 50-50, because Moise shouldn't have celebrated like that and the Curva should not have reacted that way." Bonucci told Sky Sport Italia after the game.

Unsurprisingly, the Italian defender received plenty of criticism on social media for this response, with Boateng among those who threw their weight of support behind the 19 year old striker. Read Full Story
